According to an article, three boys, ages 13, 15, and 15, were sitting on a porch in Chicago when two people shot them.  The 13-year old was killed, and the two 15-year olds were injured.
The 13-year-old was among three people shot on the 4600 block of South Spaulding Avenue just before 10 p.m., police said.
He was shot in the head and body and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The other two -- a 15-year-old boy shot in the forearm and thigh and a 15-year-old boy shot in the arm -- were taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, police said.
The three were sitting on a porch when two others emerged from a gangway nearby and started shooting at the trio, police said. The pair ran back the way they came and are not in custody, police said.

In an apparently unrelated shooting reported in the same article, a 14-year old boy.
At 10:23 p.m., a 14-year-old boy was shot in the leg on the 6500 block of South Union Avenue in the Englewood neighborhood, police said.
He was walking in an alley with friends when they heard gunfire and the boy was shot in the thigh, police said.
He was taken to Comer Children's Hospital and is expected to be treated for his wound and released, police said.
These victims were part of 12 shooting victims in only a three hour period in that city that day, two of whom died.
