13-year old boy hunted down and shot in leg after stealing cell phone.

A 13-year old boy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, reached into a car and stole a cell phone.  The owner found out, then drove around and found the boy.  They got into a fight, and the owner shot the boy in the leg.

The man fled the scene.

Someone told the man that the boy had burglarized the car, McKneely said. The man got into his car and went looking for the boy.
When the man found the boy in a nearby neighborhood, the two got into a fight, McKneely said. The man pulled the gun and shot the boy in the leg, McKneely said.
The boy ran to the 2500 block of Wooddale Boulevard, where he called police, McKneely said.
The boy’s leg wound is minor, McKneely said.
