Florida Girl Scouts may no longer go door-to-door due to gun threats

The Girl Scouts of Florida may no longer do door-to-door sales anymore, due to reports of solicitors being greeted at the door by armed individuals.

From an article:
"Obviously in today's world, you don't know what you are going to stumble across," said Sue Stewart, CEO of Girl Scouts of Southwest Florida. "Girls are facing risks by being in the public and being more known."

Stewart says those risks may change the way they sell cookies in order to keep the girls safe.
"I think the recent out break of gun violence that we are going to look at how girls proceed with door-to-door sales," she said.
In the past couple of weeks, we've heard three reports of people going door to door and being greeted with a gun.
