High school girl injured at shooting next to Ohio elementary school

A fight broke out among teens on the street immediately adjacent to Shady Lane Elementary school and Walnut Ridge High School, in Columbus, Ohio, just as those schools were releasing students for the day.  One of the fighters pulled out a gun and fired four shots.  One of those rounds grazed the head of a high school girl, who might have been an innocent bystander.

From a news article and video:

Police said that it appeared the shooting broke out after a fight, in which a person returned with a gun and fired four shots.
A small portion of East Livingston was closed at Country Club Road while authorities investigated the scene. It reopened a short time later.
According to Columbus schools officials, the bullet is believed to have grazed the girl's forehead.
The name and condition of the person shot was not immediately released.
No one was in custody in connection with the shooting and police continued to investigate.

Every gun in the hands of a child must first pass through the hands of an adult.
