4-year old Alabama boy gets loaded, unsecured gun and shoots himself to death

A 4-year old boy was visiting relatives in Prichard, Alabama, when he found a loaded, unsecured gun and shot himself in the chest.  He died from his wound.

Authorities say the child was visiting relatives, and was shot inside a home. 
According to a Prichard spokesperson, the child accidentally shot himself in the chest.
The child was taken to USA Children's & Women's Hospital.
Every gun in the hands of a child must first pass through the hands of an adult.
