2-year old boy unintentionally shot by father in New Jersey

A man was driving with other family members, including his 2-year old son, in New Jersey, when he unintentionally discharged his loaded, unsecured gun, hitting his son in the left arm and left leg.

The man is now being charged.

From an article:
Camden County Police say 38-year-old Sergio Rivera of Camden was also charged with child endangerment, drug possession and weapons offenses.
Authorities learned of the shooting late Tuesday, when they were called to the hospital where the boy was being treated for left arm and left leg wounds. But they say Rivera did not cooperate with detectives when they questioned him about the shooting.
The 9mm handgun was found in the vehicle, and authorities say Rivera had several pills of the prescription painkiller drug Percocet in his possession.
